HBC Child Care
We enroll children age one through pre-kindergarten.
Our child care program provides a loving atmosphere in which the spiritual, social, cognitive, physical, and emotional development of children can be nurtured.
Throughout the year, our Hominy ministers provide supplemental spiritual and educational opportunities for the children. Reverend Melissa Hughes, Pastor to Families, meets weekly with the children on Thursday mornings for chapel time. On Wednesdays, our Minister of Music, Kristen Dominguez, leads a music time with ages 2 through 4/5, and the Child Care presents musical sharing programs for the parents twice a year.
The center is open year round, full-time, Monday- Friday, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. except for major holidays. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are served. Cots and sheets are provided for rest time.
after school care
Our after school program is available to Candler Elementary students (K-4). Our staff walk the children from CES to our campus. While at the center, children receive an afternoon snack, they can work on their homework, and they participate in recreation activities.
Our summer day camp is open to rising 1st through rising 5th graders. Daily field trips include swimming, bowling, putt-putt, movies, and playgrounds. Our program is part of the summer feeding program which allows all enrolled children to have a free breakfast. Parents are responsible for lunch and the center provides an afternoon snack.
