Daily Bread is a ministry of Hominy Baptist Church operating since 1977 to provide hot, nutritious meals and daily, compassionate human contact to elderly homebound and medically disabled adults in the Hominy Valley, fostering independence and wellness for participants, and relief and reassurance for family caregivers.
Up to 26 meals are prepared each weekday by Hominy Baptist Childcare kitchen staff in a commercial kitchen and delivered by over 15 volunteers from our church and community on Upper and Lower Hominy Valley routes.
Drivers need a heart for older and disabled adults who need a warm meal and personal contact. Requires vehicle, insurance, license, good driving record and background check.
