Community benefit concert will raise money for local Habitat For Humanity project, Room in the Inn ministry to homeless women, and HBC’s Daily Bread food ministry. Ticket cost is a suggested donation of $10 per ticket. Donations can be made on this website or at the door.

Everyone is invited to join us for a fun time as a church family, with our families.
We will meet at 4:00 pm and have FAMILY OLYMPICS with lots of fun games for all ages! (Come prepared to have fun, get dirty, and maybe even a little wet!) We will end with a wiener roast, bonfire, and S’mores! (We are still working out details on the location, but mark your calendar for this FUN and EPIC event!) Music day camp for kids who are rising Kindergarteners through rising 8th graders. $45 for the week includes camp t-shirt, daily snack, and field trips on Monday and Wednesday. Camp runs Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm. We finish off our week of music, drama, and instruments with a concert Thursday, July 26 at 7:00 pm. This year we are doing things a bit differently with our backpack ministry! We are collecting school supplies and backpacks individually, and then giving the children who need a little extra help the opportunity to “shop” for their new supplies from what has been donated. We will collect supplies and backpacks from now through August 17. On August 18, we will take the donated materials to Candler Elementary School and the parents and children will come there to pick out their supplies and fill their own backpacks. Listed below are the supplies that we are requesting. There will be a donation barrel in the sanctuary clearly labeled for school supplies. Please let Melissa know if you have any questions.

JOIN US FOR VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL!!
Children and Intermediates (2 years old through sixth grade) are welcome to join us for Vacation Bible School this summer!
On Sunday morning, July 8, VBS will begin with registration at 9:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served on Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 am.
On Monday through Thursday, July 9-12, a light supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. and VBS will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Ministries Center.

Our Annual Church picnic will be at Lake Julian in Arden. Hot dogs and hamburgers, and drinks are provided. Bring a side dish or two, and a dessert to share.
