During the month of November the Hominy Baptist Church Board of Deacons and the Stewardship and Finance Committee are conducting a stewardship emphasis campaign that has been named “Thanks-Giving”. The campaign goal is to raise an additional $20,000 to help insure that we fully fund this year’s Tithes and Offerings goal. This campaign will kick off on Sunday, November 4th, during our worship service. This effort is necessary as giving this year has been short of church budget needs.
You are asked to prayerfully consider all that God has done for you and your church and then make a “Thanks-Giving” gift to this effort. No gift is too small or too large and all gifts will be appreciated and used to support the work of your church. Please make sure that any gift you make to this effort is over and above your normal giving.
You may use the Thanks-Giving envelope that you received in your Journey, or one included in your church bulletin each Sunday during the month of November. If you desire to be part of this effort but just can’t write your check in November just place a note in the envelope telling the amount you pledge and an approximate date you can make the gift.
How richly has God blessed you? How richly has He blessed our church family? How many lives are touched by our church’s ministries to our community? How fantastic is it to have the new sanctuary lobby and welcome center? How fortunate are we to have the wonderful and capable church staff we have at Hominy? How has your life been touched by Hominy Baptist Church? How valuable is your salvation?
Please join with us during the month of November as we give thanks to God by giving to our church. Let’s reach and exceed our “Thanks-Giving” goal.
