Music at Hominy
Worship at Hominy Baptist is carefully structured, but
intentionally personal, with an informal medley of experiences.
We follow the liturgical calendar (Advent, Epiphany, Lent,
Easter, Pentecost, etc) with a flexibility that reflects our Baptist roots.
A variety of musical styles, ensembles and musicians, visual and sensory experiences, and Gospel proclamation are woven together around a unifying theme each week. People wear what they feel comfortable in, and know that they are welcomed and accepted for who they are in God' eyes.

The Altar Guild consists of teams that assist with Baptism, Communion, floral arrangements in worship, use of candles in worship, banner-making and use throughout the seasons, and special décor that relates to our worship themes and seasons. There are also opportunities to serve as a Sound Technician or Multimedia Assistant during worship and special events.
