Sunday morning worship
Our weekly worship service begins at 10:45 a.m. Each service is carefully structured, but intentionally personal, with an informal medley of experiences. We follow the liturgical calendar (Advent, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, etc) with a flexibility that reflects our Baptist roots. A variety of musical styles, ensembles and musicians, visual and sensory experiences, and Gospel proclamation are woven together around a unifying theme each week. People wear what they feel comfortable in, and know that they are welcomed and accepted for who they are in God's eyes.
Every Wednesday (September - May), we gather to recharge and refocus with our church family. Dinner is served at 5:30 followed by Bible study sessions for youth and adults. Our children participate in mission educations and choirs.
A community worship service is offered at 11:00 a.m. every Thursday in our DayStay Adult Day Care program. This informal gathering is a time to sing beloved hymns, pray together, and listen to a sermon from Hominy ministers, as well as our community ministry partners.
