Nada, Kentucky

Beginning in 2004 Hominy Baptist Church began a twenty year commitment with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and this tiny community in Eastern Kentucky that lies in one of the poorest counties in the United States. Our relationship has grown over the years beyond an annual church wide mission trip to include Women's and Youth trips and hosting the women of Nada for a weekend in Asheville. Nada 2011

Building on the Dream Habitat House

Some people can only dream of owning a home. Hominy has been one of several area Baptist churches partnering together with Habitat For Humanity to build such a home in Enka Hills in 2009 and in Woodland Court in 2010 and 2011. See Calendar beginning each January for details.
